I have a business plan and a test tomorrow and I gave up my free kid rock tickets to get things done :/ College is so hectic around this time and I needed a major kick so I bought myself a coffee. College is over next wednesday. I can't wait for my brownsville and STC events! There will be some juicy stuff so check my myspace calendar to see when you can find me near you...
This year I didn't really find the time or need to get dressed & waste outfits for school, unless i'de wake up extremely early or had to present in front of the class but that was rare. Today didn't change much either but I did wear my Vintage Reeboks for the 4th time since i've got them and thought a picture was neccessary.

I love how forever21 is slowly but surely turning into a cheaper version of Urban Outfitters. They now have cheasy items like cat in the hat address books, character mugs & eco friendly inspired totes...?? I'm not being sarcastic...I really love it. I think Urban outfitters is over-priced...sometimes.

:::smack, smack::: I just woke up from a nap, went to the 106.3 Augustana "listener's lounge series" at hotspot today...It was a different kind of show, they have amazing voices.
Looks like bold prints and tights are not going anywhere for a while, they are only becoming trendier and bigger so are Heart-shaped sunglasses (wink wink...monikapolitan.com)
Now comes the embarassment. I'm usually not liked this but my first experience at Austin's Beauty Bar was pretty snazzy. Its not arrogance or pride & I'm not shy but I have this "thing" when it comes to taking pictures with bands, celebrities and such (with the exception of adam brody) but beauty bar...beauty bar lived up to its name on saturday. Panic @ the disco's Brandon Urie was rubbin his stuff all over the dance floor, I couldn't resist.....

I have piles of piles of boxes of everything from packaging boxes to yogurt boxes & tons of magazines. I refuse to throw them away because I know they can and will be used. Ironicly as I'm typing this E! News is on talking about celebrities who have "been or gone green" & todays myspace homepage is dedicated to Earth day. I'm not a major tree hugger but I do try to do simple things like unpluging all MY un-used appliances before I walk out the door & use recycled cereal boxes and such for my monikapolitan.com tags. Global Warming has always been a big deal... I think we are finally starting to open our eyes, we fu***d up a looong time ago, but I want to believe it is never to late.
Thrriiiiffft shopping after class today led to one big pile of new mess to add to my work space. Most of this stuff I will be selling at the next events (not at monikapolitan.com) However, there is still some vintage left over from my last trip you can purchase.

Observation: I wore this headband in Austin this weekend and got I want to say 5 compliments & "where'de you get thats?" from total strangers...I wore it today in McAllen and got "are you an indian? What's that on your head? & Start a fire for us" ... haha. Open your minds.

If you are going to thee Armada show tomorrow, then look out for some new merch our locals The Final stretch will be selling. I custom handmade their necklaces from a design they gave me a while back. Each is individually handmade, glossed and finished with a cute lil gem. Their tags are very exclusive as well.
