Business Expense-ive

Edited (more pictures!) Like I mentioned below, here are more experimental pictures with my new camera. I accidently fell asleep and had just woke up from a nappy nap when my bf came over and TRIED to teach me about settings... although, making faces seemed far more exciting at the moment...

Today I got a mail order from Singapore :o and a package from Honk kong. The stamps and packaging is always so classic and antique looking...

After months of convincing myself "you don't need it, you don't need it.." I slapped myself and said what the!! ...YOU DO NEED IT, you have a website, why wouldn't you need it. Ok Ok, so I got it, finally. This is my first big business purchase which means, less monthly money for me but who cares... I'm hoping I can start getting tasty & even tastier pictures that will keep you coming back for more...

I really don't know what I'm doing but this was one of my first shots, (fresh out of the memory card with NO photoshop) of Bella. She is a Jack Russel Terrier that lives in my backyard. More shots will be posted tonight ...

Have you guys visited Aberazzi's blog? He has some great pictures of this weekend but much still hasn't been shown. He says more will be up later. Hands down one of the best weekends of my life. The boys from the SHWAYZE tour were really down to earth and appreciative of everything. Dontgetemo had 2 sold out shows, 2 days in a row at CINE EL REY and I am so proud of those boys. After Flyleaf we spent some time at Espana and had the privelage of dining with Valente Rodgriguez from the George Lopez show and hung out with the friends I care about the most. Here are some pictures I stole from Aberazzi's blog... don't worry, I should be getting my own camera for my website next week so expect some tasty images coming soon...

Crazy Days

Um wow. Where shall this begin? So this doesn't seem like one big ranting mess I guess I could just list out the key points of last night's SHWAYZE fiasco...

1. I made 2 custom bff burger necklaces for Jess (NOWHERE) CISCO liked it so much that she gave it to him. He wore it the rest of the night, including onstage when his body was all sweatyyy. yum

2. I almost got beaten by teenage girls while I was trying to meet my boyfriend backstage. They thought I was trying to steal their spots. I had to show them my pass to calm them down. I've never seen girls so wild.

3. Confetti EVERYWHERE!

4. One of the performers got some sexy time valley girl action in the bathroom of SHINE during the after party.

5. I did do a little shopping before my night began. New shoes, new sore feet.

Here are some videos from the SHWAYZE AND CISCO performance. The scene was totally differen't from the average "Dontgetemo" Crowd. Everyone & I mean Everyone!! ...Was singing along. It was beautiful...

I got red on my hair but don't call me a red head...

Yippie skippy! Just when I thought that my hair couldn't get any more red than this the little box prooved me wrong. I'm testing out reds to see which can get me brightest deepest red possible. My mom dyed my hair last night and So far this one has KILLED...

Good News! The items from Japan I talked about a month ago are finally on the way. Geez, sorry for the long wait but it was a crazy process ordering them. Lots of cute lunch boxes, sweet smelling air freshners and cupcake inspired accessories by CRAM CREAM and other Japan based brands are what you can expect...



Shwayzee is on Thursday! Can you believe it?! There will be a signing around 3ish at NOWHERE CLOTHING (on 10th next to kumori or peppers)before the actual show which will be at CINE EL REY!

Bandwith Exceeded you suck!

Craftivism, craftivism craftivism!!! ...so much fun I had. I fell asleep at 6:30 am, woke up at 9:30 and got there at 11am to stay until 12am. Time flew by quickly and people flowed in nicely all day! The crowd died down and we decided to cut it to 10pm but as soon as I packed my stuff away customers once again started arriving :( Sorry if any of you went late and saw no Monikapolitan but BIG THANKS to everyone else who visited, Crissy, Javier from Cake fight, Danny from Power Power Clothing & Manichaus for allowing all this to happen and inviting me to be apart of it! Hopefully there are many more to come....

Tomorrow is CRAFTIVISM!!

Hello lovely people! So tomorrow is the all day CRAFTIVISM event! I will be selling from 12pm-12am! There will be "how to" tutorials in the afternoon, a fashion show in the evening AND Crafters will be selling their handmade items all day! I've been making things left and right but it seems like time is always the issue... I wish I had more of it. Most of the stuff you are about to see are brand new and exclusive designs! Some will only be sold at this event and some will be at Monikapolitan.com later....

Not only will I be selling Monikapolitan handmade items but I will also have CRAFTY CREAM crafts and jewelry supplies for you guys who want to "Do it yourself"! This is the first public outing for The Cream Shoppe and here is what you can expect + tons more...
