Before 2009 becomes official, I want to thank anyone and everyone who stood by me this past year. I can honestly say that 2008 was one of my favorite years up to date. I thank everyone who reads my blog daily and everyone who does and doesn't support Monikapolitan.com because without you I would just be a boring college kid with nothing to occupy my time. I hope everyone has a safe and wild New Years Eve, once that clock ticks 12am I'll be poppin champagne & eager to know what the New Year as to come.

A regular blog update

I can't wait for the film "CORALINE" in 3D to screen! After hearing "from the director of The Nightmare Before Christmas" I was under the impression it was a Tim Burton film, but after doing some research I learned that Tim Burton was only a writer in the Nightmare Before Christmas not the director... a bit dissapointing because I wanted to add this movie to my Tim Burton collection but 'either way, either way'... I am just as excited and I'm pretty sure I already have my movie date who would love to watch it with me ;)

I forgot to update you all with the good news: Monikapolitan finally got a laptop! I'm still trying to figure out a few things and get all my photo programs uploaded so I can continue with my blog collages and other cute advertisements, so for now I hope you can bare with the boring images. This month I have received so much Hello Kitty stuff for my birthday and Christmas and being that I also received a snazzy new laptop I've been going crazy with accessories...

The Christmas Eve Engagement

This Christmas (although it went by too quickly) was one of my best. Every year we have a Christmas Eve party at my grandpa's house where about 60 close family members meet, drink and party. During our traditional white elephant game my brother proposed to his girlfriend... she thought she was winning a "raffle present" I cried like a baby. I didn't ask for a single thing but received the best gifts! I now have a new laptop courtesy of Santa and Betseyville purse from Zar along with a ton of other stuff that I will probably blog about soon. I hope everyone has had a safe and Merry Christmas! I've decided to take full advantage of the Holiday vacation and spend more time with friends & family. My life moves so fast I sometimes forget to take everything in and cherish each moment. Friday my aunt had happy hour at her house since it was the last day of school for many. Me and my boy toy went there then we went to watch a Beatles cover band at Cine El Rey (it was amazing, I almost cried..well not really, but still.) Zar's having a Christmas Holiday Cheer party tonight! GO!
