I got a new Palm Pre phone (PP) today :D So exciting! This weekend was pretty much great, lots of parties, great food & drinks. Super dee duper event

Special thanks to Dontgetemo Concerts for letting me sell at The lets make a mess tour! And super deeee duper special thanks to all of you who stopped by and looked or purchased, it was great seeing cute boys and girls wearing my stuff out in the hott sun! Don't know why but it was probably one of my most favorite events...maybe because of the outdoor vibe. However, NEVER EVER wear a nylon dress to an outdoor event :( That little black monster (pictured below via twitter) was one of my most recent AA purchases in Austin so I wanted to be all cute and stuff by wearing it thinking that it would help cool me down. Yeah... RIGHT! I started sweating really gross about an hour into the event so I went home to change into something cotton and picked up some slushies on the way back to try and beat the heat! Special thanks to Gabriel Castle for helping me out, refusing my money and taking the last two amazing pictures! hiy-dee ho! I'm back safe from Austin with lots of new American Apparel and Urban Outfitters stuffz, which is why I'm going to be putting a lot of old stuff on ebay including this first runner up- The printed nylon high-waist skirt which I bought in Austin but never put it to good use so if you are worthy then bid, bid, bid! I wish I could show you guys the new cute stuff I bought this weekend, but today is a busy day! MONIKAPOLITAN HAS ANOTHER EVENT and it's today! Weeeeeeee! I will be selling in McAllen, TX at the Incubator! Doors open at 6pm and it's outdoors so you know you'll be needing dem shades gurrl! For now I'll be listening to The Jackson 5 while preparing for tonight...

The Dongetemo show was great, I forgot how fun & crazy events are! Gabriel Castle took a few shots of some cute customers shopping at the Monikapolitan table. He also sent me another image from the shoot we had last week. Wednesday I am leaving to Austin TX at 9am which means ALL ORDERS PLACED June 15th-19th won't be shipped until the 21st. Hello Sunshine

For one reason or another, today was a really bad day. You know when it takes over your whole body & everything anyone does or says is just really annoying? Looking at these pictures changed my mind about today & the universe. The sun shining so beautifully makes it almost impossible to want to rant on about a bad day . Gabriel Castle wanted to try out some natural lighting and make me love the universe more so we went out & found a location while he did what he does best. I wore this blue dress again cause I was too dumb & mad at my brain to think about what to put on in 5 minutes. Tonight will be spent preparing for the event I mentioned in the previous blog. I am getting rid of some old styles to make room for new so I will have a box with sunglasses for $5 at the show, try not to miss out! GOOD NEWS!! Monikapolitan has a new event! The fine fellows at Dontgetemo are hosting the SHH.It Happens Tour at the Incubator in McAllen TX this Sunday and have asked for Monikapolitan.com to make an appearance! I will be set up in the Incubator by 7pm. Squeal! EXCITING! It's been far too long since an event, I think my last one was the February Art Walk? But unfortunately it got kind of boring seeing the same creations appearing on the tables next to mine. Gluing ice cream buttons to rings isn't so creative, i know... but at least choose a snow cone ;) So with that said I don't think Monikapolitan will be making any more sales at the upcoming Art Walks, unless I come up with some magical never before done idea. I thought it was time to add to my purse and shoe collection so I purchased some new sexifying heels (which i can't wait to receive!) and a cute floral Betsey Johnson purse to make up for the few I'm getting rid of on Ebay.

I'm cleaning out my closet and selling things I don't want anymore. Some of that includes these Betseyville by Betsey Johnson purses. They were never EVER used and still have their original tags attached. I'm probably going to put them up on eBay soon but want to give you guys first dibs. Today I got to wear my GAGA hair bow out in public. I wore the smaller 4 inch version (for sale HERE.) This one pictured below is the SUPER OVERSIZED version which is 7 inches wide!! The 7 inchers should be for sale in a few weeks at Monikapolitan! Right now you can get the 4 inch clip version which is exactly the same just smaller and more practical. I'm pretty fond of both because I can bust out the small version for a cute fancy dinner date and the HUGE version for bigger club events and such...
