Today was such a beautiful and sunny day! I want to kick myself in the buttox for not enjoying it as much as I should have. Although It doesn't seem possible, I feel like I'm running out of things to do and it's driving me nuts! Late at night when I can't sleep I stock up the inventory! Friday Night Outings

Friday night we celebrated my cousin Bianca's 21st bday at PF Changs. After I butchered the strawberry cake and didn't finish my Mojito, we went to Volta for the VIPink Fashion Show. Gabriel took pictures of butts and camel toe for about 15 minutes then we booked it and went to our friends party... later finding out that it was a black light party! We had a fun little frenzy with the highlighters and name tags, socialized for a few hours and then called it a night. The full Gallery can be seen on Gabriel Castle's Blog! Now I'm getting back to reality, school and work (which is NEVER too fun.) With the exception of work, because I'm beginning to love Monikapolitan more than ever these days... especially since the Mobile Monikapolitan debut! I will be doing several events as summer approaches, the next up is May 1st in San Marcos, TX. It is a FREE music festival and you can read more or keep up on the News & Events page! Now that things have calmed down a bit here at Monikapolitan, I wanted to share some MORE photos from Mobile Monikapolitan's first event! Some things new, some things old

Right now I'm doing my daily Monday/Wednesday morning routine: eating while watching The View. The process of bringing new items to Monikapolitan has begun! Lots sold at the last event we attended and the store is a looking a little dead, but NEW ITEMS are already available at Monikapolitan, as well as some Pre-Orders! I'm also excited to let my customers know that PLUS SIZE CLOTHING is now available at Monikapolitan! This is a brand new section that I had planned to launch by Spring and so happy that it has finally happened! As you may know the clothing at Monikapolitan is "One Size" however, the pieces usually cater to XS-Medium. I received plenty of emails wanting Monikapolitan to carry clothing for "larger" women and after months of searching for cute and trendy clothing, you can now Pre-Order your favorites! The selection is minimal but will continue to grow as the weeks go by. Below are some of my recent purchases from my Austin trip and some new items that have been added to Monikapolitan!

As previously mentioned, Wednesday of my Spring Break was the Never Say Never Festival! I posted a few new pictures below from the festival. The day after we went to Austin for SXSW, everyday was GREAT except for Saturday when we decided to be idiots and spent 4 hours waiting in 30 degree weather to get into the Perez Hilton Party! Then Perez's people acted like the idiots when they got confused and let the back of the line in first thinking it was the front of the line... We were about 10 away from the door when they turned us away! Grrr. We went to the Moodswing party instead, lost Jon's friend and walked into the parking garage to find my car dead and out of battery. Haha. We did however run into Skeet and Rony from Ronysphotobooth.com on the streets Friday night and I got to meet Perez Hilton... (He's really skinny and cute in person.) Mobile Monikapolitan Success

I'm in Austin for SXSW! After the Never Say Never Festival, we unpacked everything slept a few hours and came on over. By the way: The Never Say Never Festival was AMAZING!! Did anyone catch Mobile Monikapolitan?! We received some really good feedback, met some really sweet people and everyone seemed to love it! I saw hundreds of peeps sporting dem Monikpolitan sunglasses too. Nice! Thanks to everyone who went out and purchased something or even just said "Hi!" Because of the Festival a lot of items (especially sunglasses) are out of stock! I will be doing some MAJOR re-stocking as summer approaches and getting all new items! If you order from Monikapolitan from now until the 22nd, your items won't be shipped until March 23rd... I'm on Vacation!
