The other day I decided to have a delightful brunch on my balcony to just sit back, enjoy the breeze and stare at my flowers that I'm trying to keep alive for as long as possible. So far, Austin TX is treating me great and I hope it brings much more happiness. I was finally able to set up my studio and I even added some VINTAGE pieces to the store, hope you guys like them. Welp, I'm officially settled into my white, sunny apartment in Austin, TX and I knew I made the right choice when it started snowing the 2nd day of my arrival… Okay, it was just baby snow flurries, but still. I'm really satisfied with the outcome and how the stuff I acquired througout the years meshed together so well, especially my Hello Kitty appliances. Also, my thrift hoarding came in handy! I didn't realize how much stuff I already had. Of course, nothing is complete just yet, like my office and I still have some blank walls plus a lot of organizing to do but, I figured I'd show you guys my nest so far. Eric also made me the sweetest, most thoughtful farewell video which includes advice and interviews from my family and friends. He told me to open the box which contained home memories and a USB with the video ONLY if I missed home, but ughhh, I'm impatient and opened it Sunday night. I love everyone in my life so much and although I don't miss home just yet, I do miss the people.
I put together a few of my favorite V-Day items from Monikapolitan.com as well as some fresh Spring wear coming soon! The Dainty Daisy Lace Dress and City Scene Printed Romper have just been added and are available in small, medium and large sizes. This is good news considering most of the clothing at Monikapolitan is "one size" and varies… which isn't fair to most of us, but unfortunately the manufacture only offers them that way. Well NOW, we are slowly getting into offering a variety of sizes to best suit your needs so hope you guys are excited! During the weekend we took a trip to the beach and stopped by a very interesting souvenir store that i've always wanted to check out. The photos below will explain it better…
